Hello SciTech Band Family! Although the 2020 school year is closing, we're still thinking about you everyday! To honor our seniors and all that they have accomplished over the past four years, we're working hard to keep our band family connected and to make sure that our program continues to flourish in the months and years to come. We value each and every one of you...every student, every family member, every graduate, every supporter!
There's a special song called "Hills and Valleys." It might feel like we're in the VALLEYS right now, but we promise that we will stand on those HILLS once again! The relationships and bonds that we've built transcend distance, time, and quarantines. Our music and our relationships will go on! Take one day at a time. Tell someone you love them. Do something special for someone you're living with. Reach out to someone if you need help. You are not alone, ever. We love you all! Please read all of the announcements below.

The future of our band is solid!
Next year we will be a mixture of in-person and virtual instruction. No matter what, we're going to stay connected and and keep the music learning going! In fact, every student will be given an instrument and a binder to keep at home. Assignments and special music projects will be put on a platform called SmartMusic.
Students will be able to view, practice, record, and submit all songs, scales, and other playing assignments through their school laptop. We are going to purchase a SmartMusic subscription for every student in the band.
We are also going to do our best to try to provide FREE virtual music lessons for students through our new IGNITE: Mentoring Through Music Program. Even if you can't have band at school, we will bring band to your home!
